We're looking for a Design Technician and Support Teacher to assist in teaching and learning in our Design program. You'll work closely with Design teachers to help students with their creative ideas and promote the use of resources across our Secondary School programs. You'll also be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized teaching space, ensuring all equipment and tools are used and operated safely, and helping to prepare materials for lessons.

The ideal candidate should have good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team or independently, have a positive attitude, and be proficient in English. Preferred skills include relevant health and safety qualifications, experience with CNC machinery, digital skills in graphic design and 3D modeling, and experience with textiles.

Your main responsibilities will be supporting learning by assisting teachers and students in lessons, monitoring student activity to ensure equipment is used safely, and maintaining space and equipment. You'll also be responsible for overseeing the Design Annex, recording maintenance logs, and ensuring equipment and hand tools are kept in optimum condition. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with school trips and undertaking training when required.
