Part-time Lecturer(s) in the Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education and Research (CACLER) within the Faculty of Education

Applications are invited for appointment as Part-time Lecturer(s) in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 2406124), to commence from September 2024 to June 2025.
Applicants should possess a Master Degree in Language Education, Educational Psychology or equivalent, with teaching / professional qualification (e.g. PCEd, PGDE, DipEd) and 10 years or above of teaching experience in local schools. They should demonstrate solid evidence of teaching experience in school-based curriculum development and/or research experience on inquiry-based learning.
The appointee will work on per-course basis. He/She will be responsible for the teaching workload equivalent to 24 classroom hours of teaching, including face-to-face and/or online as required. He/She will also oversee the lesson and assessment design, teaching the course and marking of assignments. In response to the changing environment of higher education, the appointee will develop innovative teaching and learning activities and assist in drafting assessment tasks and examination questions as necessary.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
