Founded by educators, entrepreneurs, and engineers, Bloom KKCA Academy provides an innovative G1-6 bilingual, project-based education. Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and distribute emails and correspondence with parents, ensuring timely follow-up and submission of required documents
- Preparation of minutes of meetings and report, (Staff meetings, SMC meetings, Leadership meetings), including drafting and proofreading correspondence, meeting agendas and minutes
- Translation Chinese to English or English to Chinese - written in presentations
- Consolidate sign-up forms received
- Carry out any other appropriate duties as directed by the Manager
- Station at the reception and act as first point of contact for all visitors and incoming phone calls, redirect calls accordingly
- Support in correspondence with parents through communication platforms, preparing bi-annual report cards as well as supporting teaching team with administering tri-annual digital assessments for students
- Support with Enrichment, other programs and school events, including follow up with contracts and service providers, liaison with operations team for set up, and follow up with parents if necessary
- Assist with enrollment and liaison with parents for all external and internal competitions
- Assist in preparing the school newsletter and other communication materials as necessary
- Assist in supervising students during arrival, recess and dismissal. Support for the student attendance and after-school program transitions
- Provide basic first aid for students with minor injuries, act as first point of contact during emergencies
- Assisting with drafting letters, translations and proofreading of school materials
- Support in any ad hoc tasks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- High proficiency in English and Chinese (both written and verbal communication), fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset
- Matured, well organized, able to work under pressure and independently
- Flexible and able to take on new jobs the school needed
- Experience working in a school is highly preferred
- Handle confidential information in a professional manner
- Responsible, detail-minded, diligent, and flexible when working on multiple tasks
- Proactive and a positive “can do” spirit
- Excellent computer skills, including Google Drive, database management, and English & Chinese typing
- Immediate availability will be an advantage
