Lecturer (Language, Section Head)

Duties: 

• Oversee the operation and development of the language subjects
• Carry out academic and student activities including student recruitment
• Undertake teaching duties and student supervision; Liaise with different internal and external stakeholders and undertake the duties of quality assurance
• Oversee the operation of Language Centre and coordinate the teaching teams
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Communication, English or language-related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution and have at least 2 years’ experience in teaching related discipline
• With experience in programme management and external accreditation is preferred
• Applicants should demonstrate a higher level of English proficiency level
• Proven record in leading a team in the tertiary education sector
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
